Inspired by "hikeshi banten" or traditional Japanese firefighter uniforms, Japan Blue's 11oz sashiko fabric is woven using sashiko threads on a robust cotton base. Dyed with rope indigo for a deep color, the fabric's texture intensifies with continued wear, revealing a spectrum of indigo-blues over time. Japan Blue's Coverall design pulls from traditional workwear complete with a four pocket design at the front, metal button placket, and pointed collar.
